We Are All Extraordinary Retreat - Sacred Valley, Peru
Food, Kashrut & Other Religious Accommodations

As a lover of travel, and an Orthodox Jew, Nili has had to navigate the ins-and-outs of how to travel Kosher worldwide... with regards to food, rituals and activities.
One of the exciting reasons we created this retreat is to finally give those with religious requirements the opportunity to breath easy and feel at home within a Halachik framework, while still having the time of their lives and getting to participate in sacred ritual and funky awesome ceremonies and healing work!
So we are dedicated to making this trip Kosher in every way.
The food will be vegetarian/vegan kosher (with gluten free options), the music will be kosher (aka no Avodah Zara), the environment will be respectful of anyone's needs for separately gendered spaces, and the retreat will host one heck of an amazing Shabbat, with all of your Shabbat needs taken care of... Kosher grape juice, Challah, Shabbas & Havdallah candles and all!
What do you mean when you say the food will be Kosher?
While there will be no certified Mashgiach on site, Nili and the staff will be closely working with the chefs to ensure the Kashrut of all of the food.
-A Jew will always be present to turn on and off the fires for cooking.
-All greens and grains will rinsed/washed and be checked for bugs.
-The kitchen staff will be using brand new pots, pans cutlery etc.
If you feel comfortable going to Nili's house for Shabbat and eating her food, then you can feel comfortable to put your feet up and trust that she too only will eat and serve food that is Kosher according to Halacha.
Yoga classes will have the option of mixed and separate yoga spaces.
Teachers will be dressed modestly in session.
You are welcome to send us questions or feedback regarding how we can address your personal Halachik needs.

***A Note on the Food***

All meals will be vegetarian/vegan and catered towards health and detoxification. There will be plenty of food, so even if you are accustomed to eating meat, we promise you will be full with delicious food after every meal!
And if you are concerned about not having meat, please feel free to pack yourself some Kosher jerky to snack on!
